My Big Fat Global Warming Post

The wheels have been coming off the global warming bus for a few years now so they started calling it climate change. Then it became anthropogenic climate change and then the wheels started coming off that (at least the anthropogenic part).

Every day I read another story. You can call me a skeptic or a denier or whatever you want, but it's because of stuff like this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this.

As i type this post, these links are all still active, with the newer ones first. This is the stuff the mainstream media is actively ignoring. My own view (which I suspect is shared by the vast majority of those labeled 'climate change deniers' is this:

• Is the globe warming? Not right now it's not. Not for over a decade.
• Is the global climate changing? Of course, it always is and always has.
• Is this change potentially catastrophic? Maybe, although this is the area where there's been some of the most outrageous exaggerations and fear mongering.
• Is mankind causing this climate change? It doesn't appear that way. We're probably contributing to it, but right now we have no idea how much.
• Is the science settled? Absolutely, positively not! At the very least let's have no more of that. Not when we're talking about global climate predictions that have been consistently wrong for decades. Not when we're dealing with computer models that are speculating past temperatures based on code that's not being made public and that even its own users say is crap. And not when we're getting scandal after scandal of scientific malpractice.

Update: Gah! I finally get around to posting all these frickin' links and the bombshells just keep coming.
